The Ohio Valley Klondike is a winter competition for all Battalions in the area. The competition is held at Stony Glen Camp in beautiful Madison Ohio. Battalions  compete in various activities including: memory verses, bible quiz, tug of war, fire building, knot tying, orienteering, triathlon, sled pull, and log saw. The Klondike is a time for Battalion boys to exercise teamwork, their minds, masculinity, leadership, and most of all their faith in Christ. The competition is always formidable and the atmosphere is fun and godly. If your Battalion is ready for an amazing time of fellowship, great competition, and frigid cold fun then look no further, the Klondike is just the event!

Date: April 14th 2012 at the Chapel in Akron

The Stockade Shape N' Race Derby is a C.S.B. classic! Boys and mentors try to shape the fastest, coolest, and sometimes most obscure race car they can using a piece of wood, wheels, and pins. Once the car has taken shape they go to the Derby and race their masterpieces down the fast track. Every boy is a winner in this competition because in the end they all have their wooden race cars as a trophy. Give this event a try and make it a stockade tradition in your church.

Attention all fathers and Brigade leaders, do you enjoy spending time with your sons or Brigade boys through various camping activities? The Father/Son camp out gives fathers and mentors an opportunity to explore the outdoors with their boys and ultimately use that experience to strengthen their relationship with each other and God. There are many activities you and your boy can participate in including: rifle shooting, fishing, archery, canoeing, water games, hikes and more. There is no better way to show your son, grandson, or any young man from Brigade that you care. The opportunities to start life changing conversations with your boy are numerous at the Father/Son camp out; you do not want to pass this one up!

Date: October 22nd 2011 at Wadsworth Hunt Club in Wadsworth Ohio

This event is all about hunting and marksmanship. Every Battalion boy gets the chance to shoot an arsenal of weapons including: a 12 gauge shotgun, .22 rifles, a high powered rifle, and more! Not only do the boys get a chance to shoot the guns, but there is also an animal field dressing demonstration. That's not all though! On top of all these great hunting experiences the boys will also be provided with a variety of wild game to eat. Help make this event totally amazing by participating this year and for years to come.

This is an energy filled, very physical, and extremely fun event for stockaders of all ages. The Stockade Track and Field meet is an action packed time that gives young boys an opportunity to run, jump, role, bend, twist, play, and anything else that requires strenuous physical activity. There are races, long jumps, marathons, and much much more! Come for the afternoon with your stockade and see how this event can wear you out.

This is an all day event open to all area battalions. Each team must have at least seven players and no more than two registered substitutes. The competition is open to boys ages 12-18 and leaders. Each team may have no more than two competing leaders (over age18) counting substitutes.
